children's theatre company, is seeking a multi–ethnic cast for their shows which rehearse in New York City.  These multi–cultural musical revues presented for grades K–4 begin touring every fall.  Each company consists of 4 adult actor–singers who move well and are strong comedic actors.  We always seek a multi–ethnic cast and particularly seek African–American, Hispanic and Asian–American performers. Look for our casting calls in the trade newspapers such as Backstage or on–line sites such as Playbill–On–Line.

If you are a performer interested in auditioning for us, this is what you will need to know:

Each company consists of:
1 Soprano with good lower register
1 Alto (strong belter)
1 Bari–tenor
1 Baritone

Please DO bring a picture and resume stapled together and music in your key.
Please DO sing a Broadway, pop or Disney uptempo and ballad.
Please DO NOT ask to sing a cappella or ask the accompanist to transpose.

seeks highly organized, motivated, responsible, independent, and easy–going Stage Managers for tours.  STORY SALAD is a non–union national and New York City–based children's theatre touring company playing theatres as well as schools.  Our first tour of the season begins rehearsal in September.  The shows play local New York City area dates as well as tour dates. Therefore, SM candidates must reside in the immediate New York City area accessible by local public transportation.  SM duties include:  driving maxi–van, supervising load–ins/–outs, calling the show, teching lights/sound at each venue, being a liaison between local promoter and producer, trouble–shooting any problems on the road.
